Privacy policy

Version 1.0 · Team-approved, effective October 26, 2026

This policy explains how Veriteus Technology s.r.o. handles personal data when you visit veriteus.tech or write to us through it. When our customers use the Veriteus product, they are the controller of the data they analyze and we process it on their behalf under a data processing agreement. That processing is covered by those agreements, not by this policy.

Contact information

The controller is Veriteus Technology s.r.o., Lidická 700/19, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Company ID 19568240, VAT ID CZ19568240, registered with the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, File 135026. For anything about your personal data, write to info@veriteus.tech.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what you send us and what any web server needs to deliver a page. Giving us your data is voluntary. Without your name and email, though, we can’t reply to you.

  • Contact form and early access. Name, work email, organization, your message, optionally how you heard about us, which form you used, the link you came from and the time you sent the form.
  • Job applications. Name, email, the role you apply for, a link to your LinkedIn profile, CV or portfolio, your message and the time you sent the form.
  • Emails to us. Whatever you choose to write, including through the “Report a broken link” button.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data about each request: IP address, the page requested, time, browser type and the referring page.

We don’t use cookies, analytics, pixels, fingerprinting or third-party scripts, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

2. How we use information

We use your data for these purposes only.

  • To answer your message or early access request and, if you wish, to discuss working together. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • To assess your application for the role you applied for. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We consider you for other roles only if you ask us to.
  • To answer your email. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages people send us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To deliver this website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running this website and protecting it from attacks and misuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don’t send newsletters, sell data, or make automated decisions about you.

3. How we share information

Form submissions are received by our hosting provider and forwarded by email to the person who answers them. Tomáš Šebesta, our CSO, handles contact form messages and early access requests. Jakub Pavlík, our CEO, handles job applications. We don’t copy them into a CRM or any other database.

Service providers who process data for us

  • Website hosting and form handling: Netlify, Inc. (USA).
  • Email delivery and storage: Google (Google Workspace).

We disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires it.

Trust & Security lists the service providers for this website and, separately, for our product.

4. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us. We delete form submissions stored by our hosting provider within 90 days. Copies in our mailboxes on Google Workspace follow the schedule below. The owner of each mailbox deletes old messages by hand, and we delete your data sooner whenever you ask.

Retention schedule
Contact form messages and early access requests, emails to us24 months from our last contact with you
Job applications24 months from the end of the hiring process
Form submissions stored by our hosting providerUp to 90 days
Server logsAs set by our hosting provider. We don’t export or analyze them.

5. Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Form data goes from your browser to our hosting provider and from there by email to the person who answers you. Only that person and our founders can access those mailboxes. No system can be perfectly secure, so if you believe your data was exposed, tell us at info@veriteus.tech.

6. International transfers

Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., is based in the United States. Our email provider, Google, may also transfer data to the United States. Requests to this website, form submissions and emails to us may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area.

6.1 Legal basis for transfers

Netlify and Google are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Transfers to them rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for that framework (Article 45 GDPR). Where their certification doesn’t cover a transfer, such as job applications, or if that decision stops applying, the standard contractual clauses in our data processing agreements with them apply (Article 46 GDPR).

6.2 How we implement the safeguards

We send our provider only what it needs to deliver the site and the form. We don’t send it analytics or tracking data, because we don’t collect any.

6.3 Data subject assistance

If you want to know more about these transfers or get a copy of the clauses, write to info@veriteus.tech.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site sets no cookies and doesn’t track you. Nothing is stored in your browser. Our cookie policy explains how you can check.

Cookie policy

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • have it corrected
  • have it deleted
  • restrict how we use it
  • receive it in a portable format
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing before you withdrew it

To use any of these rights, write to info@veriteus.tech or reply to any email from us. We’ll answer within one month, as the GDPR requires. If a request is complex or we receive many, we may extend this by two more months. If we do, we’ll tell you within the first month.

You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, www.uoou.gov.cz.
