1. Background

These terms govern your use of veriteus.tech, the website of Veriteus Technology s.r.o., Lidická 700/19, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, Company ID 19568240, registered with the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, File 135026 (“Veriteus”, “we”). Use of the Veriteus product is governed by a separate contract with each customer.

2. Modification

We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are always on this page, and earlier versions are listed in the changelog. Changes apply from their effective date.

3. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use it. If you use it on behalf of an organization, please make sure you’re allowed to.

4. Website access

You can use this website free of charge and without an account. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time.

5. Restrictions

When you use this website, please don’t:

send false information or someone else’s details through our forms
send automated or bulk submissions, or misuse our forms
try to break into, overload or disrupt the website
test its security except under the rules on our Trust & Security page

Use of the Veriteus product is subject to our Responsible use policy, which serves as our acceptable use policy and forms part of every customer contract.

6. Intellectual property rights

The texts, logo, photos, product screens and code of this website belong to Veriteus or to those who licensed them to us. We grant you a free, non-exclusive license to view this website, share links to it and quote it to a reasonable extent, with the source named. Any other use needs our permission. Journalists may use the materials in our press kit under the rules stated there. VERITEUS is a registered EU trademark.

7. Information description

This website describes Veriteus in general terms. It is not an offer, and it is not legal or professional advice. Product screens and videos show simulated conversations and are marked as such. What Veriteus does for a specific customer is set out in that customer’s contract.

8. Links

We link to studies, laws and articles by others. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. This website sets no cookies.

10. Warranty disclaimers

We take care that the information on this website is accurate and current, but we provide the website as it is. We don’t guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent Czech law allows, we aren’t liable for damage caused by using this website or by relying on its content. This doesn’t limit our liability for harm to a person’s natural rights, such as life, health or privacy, for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any other liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited (Section 2898 of the Czech Civil Code).

12. Compensation for damage

If you breach these terms and we suffer damage as a result, you must compensate us for it under the Czech Civil Code.

13. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, write to info@veriteus.tech first and we’ll try to resolve it with you. If we can’t, disputes will be decided by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

If you use this website as a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live.

14. Term and termination

These terms apply whenever you use this website. We may block access for anyone who breaches them.

15. Independent contractors

Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship between you and Veriteus.

16. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours in connection with a reorganization or sale of our business.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

18. General

If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force. These terms are available in English and Czech. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails. Questions about them go to info@veriteus.tech.
