From a conversation to the right next question.

Veriteus analyzes what people say and how they say it, checks it against the file and shows your interviewer where to ask again.

Most answers fit. A few deserve another question.Illustration, not data.

People get it right 54% of the time.

A meta-analysis of 206 documents and 24,483 judges found that people told lies from truth with 54% accuracy, barely above chance. Experienced judges did no better than beginners. Decisions in claims, hiring and investigations still rest on that judgment.

Agent Hello, you’ve reached the customer service line of Vitalis Insurance. This is John Freeman speaking. How can I help you?

Caller Hello, this is Thomas Smith. I’m calling about my home insurance. I had a small fire at home yesterday and I’d like to report it as an insurance claim.

Agent I’m sorry to hear that. First, I need to verify your identity. Could you please dictate your insurance contract number?

Caller Sure. My insurance contract number is 81030522433.

Agent Thank you. I see an active home insurance policy at the address Summer Lane 28, Goodford. Is that correct?

Caller Yes, that’s my address.

Agent All right. Now, please describe exactly what happened. When did it happen? Where exactly, and what damages occurred?

Caller It happened last night around eight. I had wireless headphones on the table in the living room. They were charging. I stepped into the kitchen for just a moment, maybe five minutes, and suddenly I heard this muffled pop, like something snapping, and then I smelled smoke.

Agent Was anyone else in the apartment at the time, or were you alone?

Caller I was alone, just me at home.

Agent Okay, and what did you do afterwards?

Caller I ran straight back to the living room and saw the headphones were on fire. Looks like the battery overheated and caught fire. It scorched the table a bit, left some smoke marks, and right next to it was my laptop, which got hit too. The plastic casing partially melted. The charger was plugged in. It’s completely destroyed. Some papers and a mousepad nearby are all blackened from the smoke.

Agent I see. Did you put the fire out yourself?

Caller Yeah, I have a small fire extinguisher spray at home, so I quickly put it out with that. I got it under control before it could spread. Luckily I wasn’t far away.

Agent Did you still call the fire department or any other emergency services?

Caller No, I handled it myself. Didn’t seem necessary anymore. There were no flames by then, more like heat and smoke, but I took pictures right afterward.

Agent I see. And those headphones, do you know the brand? Were they still under warranty?

Caller Yeah, it was TrueSound X3. I bought them about six months ago. Genuine. Not some cheap knockoff.

Agent Good, that helps. Was the laptop plugged into the socket?

Caller No, it was just lying on the table, turned off. Probably got damaged by the heat or something shot out of the headphones.

Agent All right, thank you for describing it in such detail. We’ll need photo documentation of the damages and ideally a list of damaged items with approximate values. Can you send that to insurance@vitalis.com?

Caller Sure. I’ve got everything photographed. I’m also putting together a list. I’ll send it over later today.

Agent Great. I’ll also send you a damage report form, and once we receive the materials from you, we’ll forward it to a claims adjuster. We usually get back to you within five to seven days. If needed, an on-site inspection can be arranged.

Caller Understood. I really hope this goes smoothly. Without the laptop, I’m seriously in trouble.

Agent I understand. We’ll do our best to resolve this as quickly as possible. Thank you for contacting us. If you need anything, feel free to call or write.

Caller Thanks a lot. Take care. Bye.

Agent Goodbye.

Three modules, used alone or together.

Voice

Acoustic and prosodic features of speech, such as pitch, pace, pauses and hesitation. Calibrated to each speaker.

What the research says

Content

What is said, checked against the file: earlier statements, documents, policy data or a CV. Marks where they diverge.

Form

How someone fills in a digital form, such as pace, consistency and hesitation. It can ask a follow-up question inside the form.

Video analysis is on our roadmap.

Each module works on its own. Combined, they give your interviewer more context.

Every flag comes with a reason.

  • The passage, marked in the transcript
  • The voice signal at that moment
  • A suggested follow-up question
  • A short summary of the conversation

No ratings of people. No automatic decisions.

A flag is a reason to ask.

Veriteus doesn’t decide about people, infer what someone feels or replace your specialist. The person asking makes the call. You set the threshold for when a flag appears.

You choose where it runs.

Veriteus runs on-premise or in an EU cloud.

On-premise

Inside your infrastructure, without access to other systems or the internet. Recordings, transcripts and statements stay with you.

EU cloud

In a cloud in the European Union.

API access. Integrations are scoped per deployment.

Our models are our own, built on research with the University of West Bohemia.

Trust & Security

Start with cases you’ve already closed.
